A tree needs to be your friend if you’re going to paint him. We’re not trying to teach you a thing to copy. We’re just here to teach you a technique, then let you loose into the world. Let all these things just sort of happen. This is your creation – and it’s just as unique and special as you are. Just make little strokes like that.
Anyone can paint. We touch the canvas, the canvas takes what it wants. As trees get older they lose their chlorophyll. The light is your friend. Preserve it. Happy painting, God bless.
